Spotlight is such a great platform for any child (4+) that is really into the acting side of work and for tv commercials or theatre.

Only children who are represented by an approved agent are eligible for Spotlight young performers membership. All agents have to Spotlight first and request approval which helps to maintain Spotlights standards and reputation as the most trusted and prestigious casting platform in the UK for young performers.

Although as an agency we get sent the brief’s, most of them can only be submitted with children that are signed up to Spotlight.

Spotlight features profiles for young performers from the UK’s leading agencies and theatre schools. It is the UK’s definitive platform of performers aged 4-25 and the best way for any young performer to promote themselves to casting opportunities. Young performers can join any time after their 4th birthday.

Productions cast via Spotlight include feature films, west end musicals, tv dramas, commercials and so much more – for example The Zookeeper, Game of Thrones, Dr. Who, Harry Potter and The Cursed Child, Matilda! and School of Rock – to name but a few

How can my child join?

Speak to your child’s agent to arrange Spotlight membership – they can send you an invitation to join and submit directly to us.

How much does it cost?

An annual, 365 day membership currently costs £100 (inc. VAT). Please note that monthly direct debit is not currently available for new members, only for those renewing or reactivating existing memberships.

How will my child’s information be used?

We never publish or disclose personal contact details for any of our members.

Access to Spotlight’s online platform (where your child’s professional profile will appear) is only available to vetted industry professionals. Your child’s agent/stage school, in liaison with you, can decide when it is appropriate to give out, or use, a viewing link to their professional profile, but as the profile is for promotional purposes we advise that you only include information that you are happy to make widely available. You can amend the profile at any time by signing in to your account.
